Theme Catalog
The THEME tab in the HANGAR lets you purchase and equip themes that replace the entire color palette, from the background to enemies, enemy bullets, and UI text. Every theme is designed to keep enemy bullets visible against the background, so each remains practical as well as offering a visual change. Themes do not affect gameplay values such as enemy health or bullet speed.

How to Equip a Theme
Select HANGAR from the title menu and switch to the THEME tab at the top. All six themes will appear in a list. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys to switch tabs and the up and down keys to select an item; on a touch device, tap a tab or item directly. Selecting a theme you do not own spends credits, purchases it, and equips it immediately. Owned themes can be switched at any time at no cost. Themes are managed separately from skins, so you can freely combine any palette with any ship color. See the Skin and Weapon Catalog for details about skins.
Choosing a Theme
NEON VOID and DEEP FREEZE use cool, subdued backgrounds that make orange and yellow enemy bullets stand out, making them comfortable choices for long sessions. GREEN CODE and AMBER CRT are close to monochrome and suit players who want a strong retro-terminal look. SUNSET DRIVE and BLOOD MOON are more saturated and visually pronounced, making them useful for screenshots or streaming. Any theme can be combined with the SCREEN FX option, which controls the strength of screen shake and flashes, to tune the presentation to your preference.
How Themes Work
A theme replaces the complete set of in-game color definitions: the background, player bullets, three enemy colors, two enemy-bullet colors, item color, UI text, HUD color, gold accents used for scores, and danger colors used for warnings. Every palette is adjusted for sufficient brightness contrast so that enemy bullets remain visible against its background. Your equipped theme and skin combination is restored automatically the next time you launch the game.
