VOID SURVIVAL

NEON WRAITH

A survival action game where automated weapons repel mechanical lifeforms closing in from every direction. Collect XP, shape your build, and defeat the GUARDIAN in all three sectors.

Combat basics

Attacks are automatic. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, lead enemies in one direction, and escape through open ground before they surround you. Build safe routes for collecting XP. Z uses a VOID BOMB and P pauses.

Weapon evolution

Raising specified weapons and support devices, such as PHOTON PULSE and NOVA ARC, to the required ranks triggers an EVOLUTION. Choose combinations that fit the current stage and the role your build still lacks.

A beginner build

ORBITAL BLADES, REACTOR CORE, and CHRONO FIELD provide protection at close range and room to move. CHRONO FIELD unlocks in Stage 3; before then, VOID DRIVE can supplement movement speed and XP pickup range. Once comfortable, use NOVA ARC or MINE LATTICE for wider coverage.

Improving your play

Survival depends on keeping the quieter side of the screen available as your next exit. Moving in broad circles gathers pursuing enemies into a line and opens space on the other side. If XP remains inside a pack, finish a circuit and pull the enemies outward before collecting it.

Check every level-up choice for three roles: damage coverage, movement, and durability. PHOTON PULSE alone can clear the front while leaving the sides crowded. ORBITAL BLADES or NOVA ARC cover close range and multiple directions. When HULL is low, REACTOR CORE both raises the limit and repairs it, sometimes buying more decision time than another attack upgrade.

Stage 2 CHARGER enemies periodically close distance. Change course diagonally before they accelerate, then return to your circuit after they pass. Stage 3 PHASE enemies change speed, so allow more space than their apparent distance suggests.

The operation continues after the timer until the GUARDIAN is defeated. Keep a safe circuit while drawing lesser enemies to one side instead of approaching the boss. You can hold up to three VOID BOMBs; use one as soon as danger becomes clear, especially with little HULL remaining.

Practising build comparisons

When repeating a stage, test one aim at a time. In SAFE ORBIT, prioritise ORBITAL BLADES and REACTOR CORE and see whether you can keep circling under pressure. In CHAIN STORM, develop NOVA ARC and VOID DRIVE and observe how much of a group you can clear while moving.

Use REROLL when evolution requirements do not appear, but do not chase the finished build while current damage or durability is inadequate. Taking one stabilising upgrade first and completing the evolution afterward is more repeatable.

Records and unlocks

High scores, display language, unlocked stages, sorties, defeats, and achievements are stored in the current browser. Clearing Stage 1 unlocks Stage 2 and OVERDRIVE; later sectors and weapons unlock as you clear stages. No account is required.

Saving and deleting data

Progress and settings use browser localStorage. Files may also be cached for PWA offline revisits. Progress and cache serve different purposes, so clearing only the cache may leave localStorage records.

To reset everything, delete site data for play-workshub.com in your browser settings. High scores, unlocks, profile, and achievements will be lost permanently. A home-screen icon may need to be removed separately on the device.

Data is not synced to an online account or shared with another browser, profile, or device. When clearing browsing history, avoid deleting site data if you want to keep your records.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free?

Yes. Installation and account registration are not required.

Does it work on phones and tablets?

Yes. Press the game screen in the direction you want to move and use the VOID BOMB and PAUSE buttons below. Keyboard controls are WASD or arrows, Z, and P.

Can I play offline?

Offline PWA revisits are supported after the required files have been cached. The first visit and loading after the cache is cleared require a connection.

Where is the attack button?

Normal attacks are automatic. Focus on movement, XP, upgrade choices, and VOID BOMB use.

What if performance is slow?

Close other tabs and apps, update the browser, and reload. If the device is hot, wait briefly before resuming.

How do I erase saved data?

Delete site data for play-workshub.com in browser settings. This also removes progress and achievements and cannot be undone.
