Data Protection
ASSET MANAGEMENT does not use advertising or analytics. Whether or not you create an account, asset and transaction data you enter is stored in a database (D1) on Cloudflare managed by the operator. It is never stored only on this device or browser.
Anonymous accounts and cookies
Even without creating an account, an anonymous account tied to this browser is created automatically the first time you save data, and your data is stored there. To link this device to that account, we issue an httpOnly cookie named asset_session (a cookie that cannot be read by third-party scripts and is used only in communication with the server). Its lifetime is up to 400 days for anonymous accounts and 30 days for registered accounts (automatically extended while in use). If you clear this browser's cookies, you will lose access to the anonymous account's data. Anonymous accounts, along with their stored data, are automatically deleted after 400 days of inactivity.
Account and sync
Creating an account carries over the data already stored in your anonymous account, so you can use the same data across multiple devices. The items stored are your email address, a hash of your password (the password itself is never stored), and the asset and transaction data you enter (accounts, transactions, salary and fixed-cost schedules, and similar). All communication uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
Stored data is never shared with or sold to third parties. Account deletion is not yet self-service; please log out and contact us through WorksHub's contact channel.
Information not to enter
Do not enter sensitive information such as card numbers, PINs, passwords, bank account numbers, or identity details. For account names, use a general label such as “Household account” that would not cause a problem if seen by someone else.
Deletion and shared devices
Using “Erase all data” deletes the records stored on the server. Simply clearing this site's browser data (cookies) does not delete your records; it only means you lose access to the anonymous account's data (which is automatically deleted after 400 days of inactivity). Do not use the app on shared or public devices. If you want to keep trial data, create an account to carry it over.
