基本操作

Wまたは↑でアクセル、Sまたは↓でブレーキとリバース、A・Dまたは←・→でステアリングを操作します。Spaceはハンドブレーキ、Rは直近のチェックポイントへの復帰、EscまたはPはポーズです。急な入力より、早めの減速と滑らかな切り返しが安定します。

車を選ぶ

36台の架空車は駆動方式、出力、重量、グリップなどが異なります。GARAGEで特性を確認し、SETUPでエンジンマップ、デフ、サスペンション、ブレーキ、ステアリング、各種アシストを車両ごとに調整できます。

タイムを縮める3つの考え方

1. コーナーへ入ってからではなく、手前で必要な速度まで落とします。
2. 出口が見えるまでアクセルを我慢し、車体の向きが揃ってから加速します。
3. 雪やグラベルでは操作量を減らし、タイヤのグリップが戻るのを待ちます。

路面ごとの上達ポイント

舗装路では、コーナー手前でブレーキを終え、旋回中の入力を小さく保つと速度を残せます。入口でオーバースピードになると、ステアリングを追加しても外側へ膨らみます。その場合はさらに切り込むのではなく、一度アクセルを戻して車体が向きを変えるのを待ちます。

グラベルとダートでは、車体が少し横を向くこと自体は失敗ではありません。問題は、出口を過ぎても横滑りが残ることです。コーナーへ入る前に軽く向きを作り、出口が見えたらステアリングを中央へ戻します。ハンドブレーキは低速の鋭い曲がり角で短く使い、長く押し続けて速度を失わないようにします。

雪道では、一度崩れた姿勢を急な反対入力で直そうとすると揺り返しが起きます。ブレーキとステアリングを同時に強く使わず、まず減速、次に旋回という順番を意識してください。コース外へ出たときも、すぐ最大舵角で戻すより、進行方向を道路と平行に近づけてから復帰するほうが安定します。

具体的な練習方法

最初の数回はベストタイムではなく、オフロード時間を減らすことを目標にします。各コースには5か所のチェックポイントがあり、Rで直近の安全な地点へ戻れます。大きくコースを外れたら無理に走り続けず復帰し、どの入口速度で失敗したかを覚えると練習が途切れません。

次に、同じ車、同じコース、同じセットアップで走ります。条件を固定すると、ブレーキ開始位置を少し手前にした結果や、アクセルを開けるタイミングを遅らせた効果を比べられます。結果画面の最終タイムだけでなく、最高速とオフロード時間も見れば、直線の速さと安定性のどちらに改善余地があるか判断できます。

SETUPでは最初にBalanced、Loose Gravel、Dry Tarmac、Fresh Snowのプリセットを試してください。そのうえで一項目だけ変更し、走行感を比較します。複数項目を同時に動かすと、どの調整が挙動へ効いたか分かりにくくなります。車両ごとに設定が保存されるため、路面用の基準車を決めておく運用もできます。

カメラと快適性

プレイ中はステージ背景を大きく動かさず、車体周辺の視認性を優先したコンフォートカメラを採用しています。OSやブラウザの「視差効果を減らす」設定が有効な場合は、非本質的なCanvasの動きを止め、カメラ位置の補間を簡略化します。

データの保存と削除

選択中の車両とコース、車体色、車両ごとのセットアップ、車両とコースの組み合わせごとのベストタイム、ミュート状態は、利用中のブラウザのlocalStorageへ保存されます。保存領域へアクセスできない環境でも、その場のプレイを妨げない設計ですが、次回起動時に設定や記録が残らない場合があります。

初期状態へ戻したい場合は、ブラウザ設定からplay-workshub.comのサイトデータを削除します。この操作ではベストタイムや全車両のセットアップも一緒に失われ、元には戻せません。特定の車両設定だけを戻す場合は、SETUP内のRESET TO FACTORYを利用できます。

保存先はアカウントではなくブラウザです。機種変更や別ブラウザへの移行では自動的に引き継がれません。プライベートブラウズでは終了時にデータが消えることがあるため、継続して記録を残す場合は通常のブラウザプロフィールを使用してください。

よくある質問

料金やインストールは必要ですか？

無料で遊べ、アカウント登録やインストールは必要ありません。対応ブラウザでゲームページを開いて開始できます。

スマートフォンでも操作できますか？

キーボードに加えてタッチ操作に対応しています。画面内のアクセル、ブレーキ、ステアリング、ハンドブレーキの操作を使います。横向きで表示領域を確保するとコースを見通しやすくなります。

オフラインで動きますか？

ゲーム本体は実行時のネットワーク通信や外部画像、外部音声に依存しません。公開URLから初めて読み込む際には接続が必要ですが、構成上はローカルでも動作できるゲームです。

コースアウトした場合はどうすればよいですか？

Rキーで直近のチェックポイントへ復帰できます。復帰するとタイム上の損失はありますが、遠くまで外れた状態で戻ろうとするより練習を続けやすくなります。

動作が重い、または画面の動きが苦手な場合は？

ほかのタブを閉じ、ブラウザを更新してください。OSの「視差効果を減らす」を有効にすると、対応する演出とカメラ移動が抑えられます。

Basic controls

W or Up accelerates; S or Down brakes and reverses; A/D or Left/Right steers. Space is the handbrake, R returns to the latest checkpoint, and Esc or P pauses. Early braking and smooth corrections are steadier than abrupt inputs.

Choosing a car

The 36 fictional cars differ in drivetrain, output, weight, and grip. Review them in GARAGE, then adjust engine map, differential, suspension, brakes, steering, and assists per car in SETUP.

Three ways to improve your time

1. Reach the required speed before entering a corner.
2. Wait for the exit and align the car before accelerating.
3. On snow or gravel, reduce inputs and wait for grip to return.

Learning each surface

On tarmac, finish braking before turn-in and keep steering inputs small. If you enter too fast and run wide, ease off the throttle and wait for the car to rotate instead of adding more steering.

Some rotation on gravel and dirt is normal; the problem is a slide that continues beyond the exit. Set the angle lightly before the corner and unwind steering when the exit appears. Use the handbrake briefly in slow, tight bends rather than holding it and losing speed.

On snow, a sudden opposite input can create a pendulum after the car becomes unsettled. Avoid heavy braking and steering together: slow first, then turn. Off course, align the direction closer to the road before returning rather than immediately applying full lock.

Specific practice

For the first runs, reduce off-road time instead of chasing a best time. Each course has five checkpoints and R returns to the latest safe point. Recover after a major excursion and remember the entry speed that caused it.

Then keep the car, course, and setup fixed so you can compare a slightly earlier brake point or later throttle. Alongside final time, use top speed and off-road time to distinguish straight-line pace from consistency.

Try the Balanced, Loose Gravel, Dry Tarmac, and Fresh Snow presets, then change only one item at a time. Settings are stored per car, so you can keep a reference car for each surface.

Camera and comfort

The comfort camera prioritises visibility near the car without moving the stage background excessively. When the OS or browser reduced-motion setting is active, nonessential Canvas motion stops and camera interpolation is simplified.

Saving and deleting data

The selected car and course, colour, per-car setup, best times for each car/course pair, and mute state are stored in browser localStorage. Play can continue without storage access, but settings and records may not remain for the next session.

To reset everything, delete site data for play-workshub.com in browser settings; best times and all setups will be lost permanently. To reset only one car, use RESET TO FACTORY in SETUP.

Storage belongs to the browser rather than an account and does not transfer automatically. Private browsing may erase it at the end of a session, so use a normal profile for persistent records.

Frequently asked questions

Is payment or installation required?

No. Open the game in a supported browser; no account or installation is required.

Can I control it on a phone?

Yes. Touch controls cover throttle, brake, steering, and handbrake. Landscape orientation provides a clearer view of the course.

Does it work offline?

The game has no runtime dependence on network services or external media. The public URL still requires a connection on its first load.

What should I do after leaving the course?

Press R to return to the latest checkpoint. It costs time but makes continued practice easier than recovering from far away.

What if it is slow or motion is uncomfortable?

Close other tabs and update the browser. Enabling the OS reduced-motion setting limits supported effects and camera motion.
